Let us take an opportunity to recognize the dis-ease we witness within and around us and come together in an intentional pursuit of awareness, community, thoughtful action, support, compassion, peace, and love.
Even the most peaceful of world and spiritual leaders and guides saw war and hostility in their lifetime. And yet the teachings remind us that they were somehow still able to cultivate a sense of peace amidst challenging times, without passivity or ignorance.
This reminder (including a brief exploration on how this incorporates the Three Refuges) and our own practice might give us a greater sense of purpose and serve as a reminder to live, love, and lead fully.
We will end with a guided meditation, infusing a few reflection inquiries on the concept of what PEACE means to us, and how we might embody it moving forward.
