It is, however, so easy to get caught up in the flow and grind of our ever-evolving world that it can sometimes feel like a challenge to pause and really, truly be in the moment. Even when we are be-ing, we might be mentally sifting through a laundry list of things we "should" be do-ing.
In a brief chat and guided meditation, we will discuss the importance of being in the moment as often as possible - even if we are do-ing (or simply just focusing on our to-do lists) - so that the anxiety and anticipation of future outcomes don't get the best of us.
This practice will ultimately support us in our efforts to remain as centered as possible in all situations - whether we are physically / mentally occupied or not. Students will take away a greater sense of ability to cultivate a sense of awareness and ease from moment to moment - or at least have a better understanding of the fact that this tool is always accessible to us (whether or not we choose to use it is up to us).
From this place of knowledge and embodiment, we can bring this more centered energy into our day and whatever our circumstances may be - whether we are be-ing or do-ing

Let us take an opportunity to recognize the dis-ease we witness within and around us and come together in an intentional pursuit of awareness, community, thoughtful action, support, compassion, peace, and love.
