What ARE Values? Values essentially define our model of the world. They are a compass for deciding whether our actions are good or bad, right or wrong and how we feel about our actions. Values are what we are either negatively or positively motivated by. And Values are context specific. For example, you may really value vulnerability in your interpersonal relationships but perhaps it's not something you're comfortable with in professional relationships. You may appreciate adventure when it comes to romance but not when it comes to financial investments.
In this session, Heather Henninger leads us in a writing workshop where you will uncover what it is that you value in different areas of your life, find out if you're positively or negatively motivated by them, create an action list and accountability system for following through on those that you're positively moving toward achieving.
